Matthew Kratter, Senior Vice President

Mr. Kratter joined Petsky Prunier in summer 2006 with nearly ten years of merger and acquisition experience encompassing $25 billion of deal value. Mr. Kratter advises publicly-traded companies as well as private and financially-backed companies in the marketing, advertising and digital media industries.

Prior to joining Petsky Prunier, Mr. Kratter was a vice president in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Banc of America Securities where he focused on consumer and retail companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kratter was an associate with the cross-border focused firm, Rothschild Inc., where he was involved with large-cap Europe-to-U.S. transactions. As an analyst in Global Communications (Media) corporate finance group at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Kratter was involved with M&A, capital raising and coverage of traditional media and entertainment companies.

Mr. Kratter is a Management and Technology program graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, holding two Bachelors degrees, including an applied science degree in systems science and engineering and an economics degree with concentrations in finance and marketing from the Wharton School. Mr. Kratter has collaborated with faculty at Columbia University Business School on research involving investment banking fairness opinions.
